The Mayor's Awards are given to people who have made an outstanding contribution to the community in Slough.
The awards will be presented to the winners at an evening event for voluntary services on Monday 9 May when the Mayor, Slough's first citizen, will thank local volunteers for their work.

Anyone who lives in, works, or studies in Slough can be nominated. So if you know someone who goes above and beyond for our town, let us know.
The closing date for entries is Monday 18 April 2011.
Representatives from the Rotary Club of Slough, Deputy Lord Lieutenant Gordon Storey and the current Mayor of Slough, Councillor Jagjit Grewal will be judging the entries.
