Slough Forward is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for Slough. LSPs have been set up all over the country. They are non-statutory bodies that bring together local public, private, community and voluntary sector organisations.

Major decisions are taken to the wider Slough Forward Forum meetings for debate.
Existing decision-making bodies, such as the council and Primary Care Trust (PCT), hold Slough Forward accountable for performance and governance. Partners are accountable to each other by delivering the agreed actions in the sustainable community strategy and local area agreement.
Slough Forward is accountable to the public through consultation and the regular reporting of progress through publications such asSlough Citizen - the council's newspaper.
Partners agreed to jointly fund an LSP manager and support officer to ensure the effective running of the partnership.
