Slough Forward is made up of:

Partnership Board

Acting as the executive for Slough Forward, this group is the main decision making body of the partnership. It is made up of key senior members from local, community, voluntary, private and public sector organisations.

The Board meets regularly to:

• agree strategy, targets and actions
• monitor progress
• review resources
• resolve issues
• oversee progress

Partnership Delivery Groups

Slough Forward decided in order to achieve the vision of the future set out in the sustainable community strategy it would be necessary to have a series of thematic partnerships or delivery groups. These groups are responsible for delivering the priorities outlined in the sustainable community strategy and local area agreement.

The groups incorporate and build on existing partnerships and have many links (formal and informal) with regional and local groups. Each delivery group was given a portion of the strategy to tackle and their progress is reported back to the Board regularly.

Slough Forward Forum

This is a wider group that is inclusive of the voluntary sector, community groups, businesses and the public sectors. The Forum meets twice a year to review progress on delivering the priorities in the sustainable community strategy.

The Forum also considers key issues facing the town where opportunities for cross-partner working may derive benefits and makes suggestions or recommendations for future sustainable community strategy actions.
