On bin collection day, you should:

  • place your wheelie bin at the kerbside before 7am
  • make sure your bin is clearly visible without causing any obstruction and preferably with the handles facing towards the street.

Please don't overfill the bin, because if it is too heavy or the lid is not closed properly it will not be collected.

Any refuse placed at the side of the bin will not be collected. This waste can be taken to the Household Waste Recycling Centre.

After the bin has been emptied, it is your responsibility to return your bin to your property.
