Langley Leisure Centre

Langley Leisure Centre

Built in 1997, Langley Leisure Centre is one of the borough’s prime leisure sites but much of the plant and other machinery is coming to the end of its useful life.

Now a multi-million pound refurbishment is taking place to extend the facilities, improve the car parking and renew tired facilities.

The refurbishment will include:

  • replacement of plant equipment and other machinery
  • upgrading ventilation and lighting
  • an extension to the current gym to double the capacity
  • improvement to the activity studios
  • repairs and refurbishment to the main pool
  • new internal design and decoration
  • increased parking provision

The refurbishment is expected to take just over a year with the centre closing in June 2017 and reopening in autumn 2018.
