Following the Metropolitan Police Service’s statement that a Hotpoint FF175BP fridge freezer has been identified as the initial source of the Grenfell Tower fire, the Government has ordered an immediate examination of the unit by technical experts to establish the cause of the incident.
This product, which was manufactured between 2006 and 2009, has not been subject to product recalls and this testing will establish whether any further action is required.
If you believe you may own a Hotpoint fridge freezer model number FF175BP (white) or FF175BG (grey)  you should call Whirlpool Corporation’s freephone hotline on 0800 316 3826 or visit their website to register for further updates.
At this stage there is no specific reason for consumers to switch off their fridge freezer pending further investigation.

Ennis tealight holders

In our Christmas collection, you might have noticed a design called Ennis - the birch bark tealight holders with a little star or Christmas tree on the front. Despite the measures we take, very, very occasionally a problem might crop up later down the line, which we're sorry to say is the case with Ennis.

In a nutshell, if the position of the tealight is too close to the edge of the container, there's a risk of it catching fire. You might just be using Ennis for decorative reasons, but even still, we ask that you please stop using it straight away.

Like you, we love our Ennis tealight holders, and so are asking them to be returned to us should you have bought one. We'll then look into the problem to try to fix it and bring it back into our collection next year. If returning them is difficult for you, please discard them safely instead.

How to return Ennis

If you bought Ennis from a Neptune store, please take it back to the same one, and we'll refund you there and then.

If you live a bit too far away, simply post it back to the store from which it was purchased. And, if you bought it online, please post it back to Neptune HQ.

Once received, we'll call you to sort out a full refund over the phone. We'll of course cover the postage costs too, so just notify us of this when we call and we'll add that to your refund.
