Information about residents' religion and beliefs are collected as part of the national Census.

The majority of people who responded to the 2011 Census in Slough stated they are Christian, that's 40% lower than the national and South East regional averages. Proportionally more people from Slough classed themselves as Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, and Sikh than did so nationally and across the South East. Fewer people in Slough have no religion compared to England and Wales and the South East.
