Following the Prime Minister's announcement on 18 April, there will be a UK Parliamentary election on Thursday 8 June 2017. The (Acting) Returning Officer at Slough Borough Council will be responsible for declaring the result for the Slough Constituency.
The deadline to register to vote in the general election for those who are not yet registered to vote, will be Monday 22 May 2017. New applications should be made online.
It is anticipated that poll cards will be sent out w/c Monday 8 May 2017 to those electors who are already registered to vote. If you have not moved and are already registered, there is no need to register again to vote on 8 June.
For those electors who anticipate they will be away around 8 June and would like to vote by post, they should ensure a postal vote application form reaches Electoral Services by 5pm on Tuesday 23 May 2017.
