Advice to event organisers

Slough Borough Safety Advisory Group (SAG) is a group of local regulators who between them have a wealth of expertise to help event organisers plan safe events.

Typically the SAG has contributors from:

  • Thames Valley Police
  • South Central Ambulance Service
  • Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service.

Plus Slough Borough Council representatives including:

  • Emergency Planning
  • Environmental Health
  • Highways & Transport
  • Licensing.

Our joint aim is to ensure entertainment events are safe for exhibitors, performers and visitors. We also hope to minimise any adverse effects such as noise and traffic congestion.
