Applications go through a shortlisting process. If you are shortlisted you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre at Slough Borough Council. It will include:
You will also get to talk with apprentices currently on the scheme.
The Assessment Centre results will determine which candidates have been successful. An offer letter will be sent to those individuals with a fixed term one year contract to sign and details of your start date.
If you have not been shortlisted, you will be advised of this by email and alternative support will be offered.
There is no guarantee of employment at the end of your fixed term contract. We will support you with applying for vacancies both within us and externally. The information and guidance team will help with your CV and completion of application forms and you will attend workshops to develop good interview techniques.
Apprentices who are suitable to progress to Level 3 will be moved onto the advanced apprenticeship if they gain employment with us.
