Diverse Steps - Dance in Unity

Diverse Steps event banner

Saturday 20 May

1.30pm - 5.30pm

Town Square, High Street, Slough

To celebrate World Diversity Day, the council's community cohesion members' group is hosting a major celebration of all the communities of Slough!

Diverse Steps - Dance in Unity is a four hour long showcase of the dance styles of the world; right in the heart of the town centre.

From ballet to bhangra, street to strutting, witness the colours and complexity of dance from Poland, the Indian sub-continent, the streets of New York, Africa and more.

And if you want to get involved you can really get into the spirit of the event by wearing your national outfit and taking part in the 'Walk of Unity Procession', walking alongside the fantastic beats of Ministry of Dhol.
