The Christmas lights switch on event will feature music, dance and a preview of The Curve’s pantomime Beauty and the Beast.
On the day we will be giving out free raffle tickets. Keep this safe as it could be your passport to your best Christmas ever!
One lucky winner* will be selected to help turn on Slough’s Christmas lights, alongside Slough's Mayor and Santa.
And that’s not all; you could also win a hamper of goodies from the likes of, Tesco, Starbucks, Specsavers, WHSmith and much, much more.
* Terms and conditions apply. If the prize winner is under 18, they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the stage to claim the prize.
A 40 foot Norwegian spruce Christmas tree will be installed in the town square a few days after the Christmas lights switch on event. There isn't room for the tree and the event stage in the town square at the same time. After the festive period, the tree will come down in January and be recycled.
A festive family fun weekend is planned in the town centre for 15 and 16 December, where there will be a land train, Santa’s fun animals, stalls, face painting, glitter tattoos, balloon modelling, and other activities.
Look out for our special guests - the tap dancing turkeys!
