Festive Fun

Festive Fun weekend

Saturday 12 December, 10am-5pm, and Sunday 13 December, 10am-4pm

Festive fun takes place on the third weekend in December in the Town Square, Slough. It is now into its fifth year and attracts anywhere between 1,000 -1,500 visitors over the two days.

Christmas baubles and Christmas puddings

Organised by Slough Borough Council, it’s two days of fantastic fun for all the family in the town centre, which includes some of the below:

  • Arts and crafts
  • Craft stalls
  • Street entertainment
  • Santa’s animals (not reindeers as they are resting)
  • Land train
  • Balloon modelling
  • Glitter tattoos.

Elf and Safety entertainers To keep people entertained and in the festive spirit we will be visited by some roller skating baubles, roller skating Christmas puddings and juggling elves! (All pictured).

Christmas lights switch on event

It is with great disappointment that the decision has been made to cancel the 2020 Christmas lights switch on event.

The health and safety of all stallholders, fairground workers, entertainers and visitors are extremely important to us. With the updates that we may see a second wave, it has become clear that we couldn’t run the event safely, following social distancing regulations, with such a large gathering of people.

We should be back with these events in 2021.
