Festive fun takes place on the third weekend in December in the Town Square, Slough. It is now into its fifth year and attracts anywhere between 1,000 -1,500 visitors over the two days.
Organised by Slough Borough Council, it’s two days of fantastic fun for all the family in the town centre, which includes some of the below:
To keep people entertained and in the festive spirit we will be visited by some roller skating baubles, roller skating Christmas puddings and juggling elves! (All pictured).
It's Chrissssstmmmmaaaaaas!! And once again we lit the town centre with Christmas lights and fireworks and gave away hundreds of pounds worth of goodies to kick off the celebrations.
The Christmas lights switch on event was held in the town square on Saturday 23 November, where there was music and dance on stage, giveaways and the lights were switched on at 5pm before fireworks flew from the rooftops!
Acts on stage included Elite Drummers, the amazing dancers from Creative Academy, Slough Community Youth Soul Choir, HOMESlough, Polish Dancers of all ages and local band, The Hornets.
A Norwegian spruce Christmas tree has been installed in the town square. Pop by and see it for yourself!
After the festive period, the tree will come down in January and be recycled.
