No one is too young or too old! If you are unable to come to our library buildings or find it hard carrying items you can use the mobile. It hasa range of books, DVDs, CDs, large print and audio books, and has an automated step or ramp for easy access.
The mobile library visits schools, residential homes, playgroups, hospitals, nurseries, day centres and sheltered accommodation throughout Slough. It also makes regular stops in residential areas.

Volunteers also visit people who are housebound every three weeks to deliver the library service to their homes for free.
We are always looking for new volunteers. If you know anyone who enjoys books and meeting people, is reasonably fit and has access to a car, ask them to give us a call.
