People with special needs
Here’s how we can help if you have a disability:
Access to our libraries
Access is available to all of our libraries for the physically disabled.
Can't visit our libraries?
Mobile & home library service
The Mobile Library visits schools, residential homes, hospitals, nurseries, day centres and sheltered accommodation throughout Slough and makes regular stops in residential areas. The library van houses a range of books, DVDs, CDs, large print and audio books, and has an automated step or ramp for easy access.
If you are unable to use our mobile, volunteers also visit people who are housebound every three weeks to deliver the library service to their homes. They can bring books, talking books, CDs, videos, DVDs and more.
