Tips for using our send us a review or rating form

Help others decide what to read, listen or watch next!

We would really like you tell us about books you’ve read, films you’ve watched or music you’ve listened to recently. What have you loved, or even hated? Do you have a favourite book, CD or film?

Use the send us a review or rating online form to:

• Send a short review to tell us what you have liked or disliked (maximum of 350 words)
• Give your rating from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent)
• If you don’t fancy writing a review you can just send us a rating.

Which reviews or ratings will we use?

We cannot guarantee to publish all ratings and reviews we receive and we may edit the contents of reviews. We will let you know if we do publish your rating and/or review.

Help with writing a review

Here are some questions to help you decide what to write for your review:

• What did you enjoy or not enjoy about it?
• Was it what you expected?
• How did it make you feel?
• Would you recommend it and why?
• Who would you recommend it to?

How to give a rating

Here's our suggestion of how to decide what rating to give:

• 5 stars - excellent - top marks
• 4 stars - good - I recommend it
• 3 stars - OK - it passes the time
• 2 stars - poor - not my thing
• 1 star - terrible - avoid!

Personal information

Please specify in the form whether you would like your name to appear on the website. If you would like your name published, please tell us how you would like your name to appear eg, full name (John Smith), initials (JS) or nickname. (Please note that we will publish only the first name of children aged under 16.)

Please double check your email address

Please check that you have typed your email address carefully if you would like a reply by email to tell you when we have published your review. Confidentiality and data protection

Personal details supplied on this form will be treated confidentially and only used for the publishing of reviews and ratings if permission is given (Data Protection Act 1998).
