Help for independent reading groups in the Slough area
We can provide assistance with running your established reading group or with setting up a group:
- Collection of Books - dedicated collections of books available from Slough library and through Thames Valley Libraries that can be reserved in advance.
- Reservations - reservation of dedicated collections.
- Overdues - no overdue charges on collections.
- Loan Periods - extended loan periods to allow groups time to read and discuss books.
- Alternate Formats - access to books in alternative formats either through library collections or through outside organisations where practical.
Please email library@slough.gov.uk and give your name, reading group name, telephone number, name of related library, and whether you would like to be approached with details of new members wishing to join a group. You can also download a form and hand it in at your local library.
