All our libraries have leaflets and books on healthy living and eating, medical conditions and other issues relating to health.
We can also provide information about local medical services and services for getting fit and healthy.
Health activists and trainers from Primary Care visit Slough regularly to provide awareness, advice and support about health issues. If you want help to stop smoking you can join our free confidential 1-1 drop in sessions and/or groups discussions and support at Slough Library.
The Saturday Sofa Club offers free support and information and NRT products at prescription prices and meets every Saturday on the first floor of Slough Library, 10am-3pm. For further information telephone the Sofa club direct on 07504 529915.
We also provide courses for families to promote healthy living.
