Our team of library volunteers help with:

Delivering to housebound people
Shelving
Assisting with events
Gardening in our sensory garden
Assisting IT beginners
Preparing for craft and music sessions
Supervising in Britwell Library's play and learn toy library or Cippenham Library's play and learn toy library

What do you need to volunteer?

Good people skills
Love of books
Interest in the needs of disabled people
All volunteers must undergo a CRB check as they may be working with vulnerable people

What do you gain from volunteering?

A chance to meet meet new people
An opportunity to learn new skills - the library provides full training and support
