BE BRILLIANT - CELEBRATING SKILLS AND DIVERSITY IN OCTOBER
We are looking for a diverse collection of community and hard to reach groups, to welcome into the Library during the month of October, to celebrate Black History Month and the National Family Learning Festival.
At the First Floor Exhibition area there is opportunity for groups to use this space by arrangement to display, exhibit, demonstrate, share and celebrate activities and skills special to their own culture and traditions and heritage.
E.g. dance music, crafts, art, fashion, food and cookery, alternative therapies, folklore - so it could be as diverse as an ancient dance routine to Chinese calligraphy to a wood craft or a steel band performance!
At this moment we are trying to identify such groups who may benefit from using our wide range of Library Services, too.
We would welcome your support and we send our invitation out to you.
