What is Bookstart?
Bookstart helps parents share and enjoy books with their children. There are three free packs with books and information. You can get your free packs from your local library, health clinic or nursery!
Please remember to bring your Red Health Books when collecting a pack so we can sign off that you received it!
The first Bookstart Bag is for babies from 6 - 9 months
You can collect it from all health clinics, or from your local library.
All 2 year olds are invited to a special music time at the library when you can collect your pack. If you can’t come along you can still collect your Bookstart Plus bags at the local library or health clinic.
Bookstart Treasure Boxes are for 3 year olds. Your child will get their pack from their nursery or playschool. If your child does not receive a Treasure Box you can pick one up from your local library.
There are also special packs for partially sighted and blind children from 0 – 4 years. Contact your library to find out more!
