Space Chase Summer Reading Challenge 2019

Pictures of the lovelyspace themed gifts for the Summer Reading Challenge 2019 - the folder, kit bag, wristband, bookmark, stickers and colour in glasses This year's Summer Reading Challenge is called Space Chase and celebrates 50 years since we landed on the moon!

The challenge starts on 29 June and finishes on Saturday 14 September 2019 in all of Slough's libraries and is COMPLETELY FREE.

To take part, sign up at your local library and start reading!

Read six books and tell us all about them to collect great rewards.
There are stickers, a bookmark, colour in glasses, a wristband and bag to collect too. 

If you complete the challenge and complete ALL six books you will get aChildren completing the summer reading challenge collect a special Space Agent Flight Commander ID card and a certificate straight away and can collect a gold medal in special ceremonies in September & October super special Flight Commander Space Agent ID card which is only available in Slough. Plus you'll receive a certificate and be invite to collect your medal at ceremonies in all your local libraries in September and October. Ask when library staff when you finish the challenge!

It doesn’t matter if they are not yet reading independently; sharing a story with an adult is a great way to take part. You can also read eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eComics with some of our online resources on your tablets or phones.
