Purpose:

Approval for adoption of the Simplified Planning Zone for Slough Trading Estate.  This grants planning permission in advance for a range of uses including data centres, warehouses and industrial units.  This excludes offices, major retail development and the Power Station on the Trading Estate.  This will run for a 10 year period from 2014-2024.  This is an important tool for attracting inward investment.

Decision:

That the adoption of the Simplified Planning Zone Scheme 2014-2024 for the Slough Trading Estate be delegated to the Planning Policy Lead Officer subject to the signing of a Section 106 Legal Agreement.
