Purpose:

The Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 brings a number of changes to the tools and powers available to the Council, Thames Valley Police and other agencies.  There will no be available 6 key tools which will come into effect from October 2014.  This report outlines the new powers, details our partnership preparations for their delivery and seeks Cabinet endorsement.

Decision:

That the powers conferred by the Anti–Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 to local authorities be delegated by Cabinet to (i) the Customer & Community Services directorate and (ii) the Regeneration, Housing & Resources directorate.
