The Mayor
The Deputy Mayor advised that the Mayor, Councillor Sukhjit Dhaliwal was currently in India following a close family bereavement. The Deputy Mayor and all Members extended their thoughts and sympathy to the Mayor and her family at this sad time.
Mr Qureshi
The Chief Executive advised the Council that under the provisions of Section 85 of the Local Government Act 1972 (attendance at meetings), Mr Qureshi ceased to be a Member of the Authority on 27th January, 2012.
