Minutes:
The Mayor announced that sadly, Sheila Thorpe, former Councillor and Mayoress of Slough had passed away on 10th April.
Sheila was a County Councillor from 1981 to 1989 and served as a Member of the Council from 1987 to 1999. She was Deputy Mayor in 1992/1993 and was elected Mayor for 1993/1994.
Condolences had been sent to Sheila’s family on behalf of Members and Officers.
The Mayor asked all Members to join him in observing one minute’s silence in memory of Sheila.
