Appointments to Outside Bodies 2015/16

Minutes:

The Mayor advised that nominations had been circulated in a supplementary agenda.

 

It was moved by Councillor Anderson,

Seconded by Councillor Swindlehurst,

 

“That appointments be made to Outside Bodies for 2015/16 municipal year as now submitted.” 

 

The Mayor then put all of the uncontested nominations to the vote and these were approved by the Council.

 

Each of the contested nominations were then put to the vote and the numbers voting for each of the nominees were set out below:-

 

Board of Development Initiative Slough Housing Limited (DISH) – Councillors:- Anderson (28), Davis (31), Morris (8), Swindlehurst (28).  Councillors Anderson, Davis and Swindlehurst appointed.

 

Slough Local Asset Backed Vehicle (LABV) Board - Councillors Nazir (27) and Morris (8).  Councillor Nazir appointed.

 

Slough Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board – Councillors Hussain (27), Malik (27) and Strutton (9). Councillors Hussain and Malik appointed.

 

Heathrow Airport Consultative Committee – Councillors Swindlehurst (27) and Smith (9). Councillor Swindlehurst appointed.

 

Local Authorities’ Aircraft Noise Council – Councillors M Holledge (27), Mann (27), Munawar (27) and Strutton (9). Councillors M.Holledge, Mann and Munawar appointed.

 

Strategic Aviation Special Interest Group (SASIG) – Councillors Munawar (27) and Smith (9). Councillor Munawar appointed.
