Further to the resolution of the Cabinet taken on 6^th October 2017, it was noted that it had decided under delegated authority to proceed with the proposal to take over the company which owned the freehold of Nova House, Slough to ensure residents were protected by carrying out the necessary fire safety works.

Resolved –  That the minutes of the meeting of the Cabinet held on 18^th December 2017 be approved as a correct record.

Cabinet, 6^th October 2017: Strategic Acquisition of Town Centre Site

The Cabinet was informed that it had been decided under the authority delegated to the Interim Director of Place & Development to proceed with the proposal to take over the company which owned the freehold of Nova House, Slough to ensure the protection of residents by carrying out the necessary fire safety works.  The decision followed detailed due diligence and was subject to the resolution of any final legal matters.
