The Panel noted the progress made on the actions agreed at recent meetings.  In relation to Minute 48 regarding children’s oral health programmes, the Panel noted that the figures for Slough were disappointing and discussed whether to undertake any future scrutiny on the matter.  The Director of Adults & Communities reported that there was a significant amount of activity already underway to address the issue and it was therefore agreed that Panel Members would receive a briefing note in the first instance.

Resolved –

(a)  That the Action Progress Report be noted.

(b)  That a briefing note be circulated to the Panel on the work being undertaken to improve children’s oral health.
