Dave Andrews and Julie Siddiqi in Conversation: Jihad of Jesus Tour UK
Andrea Sparrow announced that as part of the Jihad of Jesus 2018 National tour, St. Mary’s Church would be hosting a talk on Monday 26th March 2018 from 6.30pm. Julie Siddiqi, Chair of Slough SACRE and Dave Andrews (Author of The Jihad of Jesus: The Sacred Struggle for Justice and Community worker for TEAR Australia) would be discussing their thoughts and ideas (regarding relationships between Christians and Muslims) through their experiences over many years in frank, open conversation that would stimulate rich discussion with their audience.
SACRE members were invited to attend and further details and booking information would be sent to the Clerk for circulation.
Annual Slough Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan – Sunday 22nd April 2018
Councillor Paul Sohal invited members to the Vaisakhi Nagar Kirtan, annual religious procession in celebration of the birth of the Khalsa Panth on the above date. Further details will be circulated by the Clerk to SACRE members once received.
