The Scrutiny Officer introduced a report that set out the proposed work programme for the Committee in 2018/19.  The work programme would be updated to reflect the discussions at the recent scrutiny training at which a number of suggested areas for scrutiny were made.  The following was agreed:

·  Housing Strategy – Themes 2 and 3 item currently scheduled for 12^th July would be moved to 13^th September 2018.

·  Voting Task & Finish Group Terms of Reference to be added for 12^th July.

·  Capital Strategy including the potential office purchase and move of the Council’s headquarters to the town centre to be added for 12^th July.

·  The items already scheduled for 12^th July (Transactional Services Annual Report, Financial Update and Performance & Projects Report) were confirmed.

Resolved –  That the Work Programme for the 2018/19 municipal year be agreed as at Appendix A to the report, subject to the above amendments.
