The Committee considered a report that set out the proposed work programme for the Committee in 2019/20.  The work programme would be updated to reflect the discussions at the recent scrutiny training at which a number of suggested areas for scrutiny were made.  The following was agreed:

·  11^th July – Section 106 Receipts and Allocation of Funds.

·  11^th July – SBC Annual Report.

·  11^th July – Performance & Projects Q4 2018/19.

·  11^th July – Buses – lanes, fares and access for local users.

·  12^th September – add an update on Heathrow expansion.

It was also agreed that the next report on the Work Programme include an appendix with a list of the Council’s major contracts to enable the Committee to decide which areas to scrutinise in the coming year.  The Cabinet’s Notification of Key Decisions would also be included so that Members could identify any forthcoming issues for scrutiny.

Resolved –  That the Work Programme for the 2019/20 municipal year be agreed as at Appendix A to the report, subject to the above amendments.
