A resident only area will benefit Slough Council in revenue and
enable actual residents to park near their homes.
It will also stop drivers from other areas using the available
spaces as their personal free car park for the whole day (in most
cases over 12 hours).The slip road was blocked to traffic which was
a good idea because of the school but was needlessly yellow-lined
and has wasted a number of spaces which could be used by
residents.
Permits were issued to a select few to park at Folkestone Court
road car park, this I believe was very unfair.
Workmen also have a very hard time in parking their vehicles while
carrying out repairs on our homes.
