Councils from across the country joined a seminar in London on 28 July to call for adequate government funding to be made available to cope with population growth due to increased migration.
The seminar, organised by Slough Borough Council, was attended by more than 25 councils from as far away as Redcar and Cleveland to Ashford, with 14 London authorities represented.
