Councils from across the country joined a seminar in London on 3 November 2006 to further investigate the issues of fair funding as highlighted in an earlier seminar in July and to widen the debate to discuss the benefits of migration for towns like Slough.
The seminar, organised by Slough Borough Council, was attended by more than 25 councils from as far away as Newcastle and Lincolnshire.
