English acoustic roots and folk duo Show Of Hands are joined by Miranda Skyes ace double bassist and singer on Wednesday 24th September for an un-missable evening of live music at the West Wing Arts Centre.
An alchemist couldn’t have come up with a more potent, magical mix than that of Phil Beer who The Scotsman observed, “plays nearly every stringed instrument known to man” and the inspired Steve Knightley described by BBC Radio 2’s Mike Harding as “one of England’s greatest singer songwriters”.
This popular acoustic roots duo have an impressive list of achievements notching up three sell out gigs at the Royal Albert Hall; nominations for Best Duo and Best Original Song at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards; headling over 20 major UK festivals from Glastonbury to Cambridge and supported Peter Gabriel at his date at the Eden Project.
