Beowulf performance at The Curve

Published: 18 February 2019

A performance full of adventure and imagination will be coming to The Curve in March.

Beowulf is Seth Kriebel’s new interactive performance which invites the audience to explore the world of this legendary story from our ancient past... without leaving their seats.

On national tour throughout 2019, Beowulf will take each audience on their own unique adventure, with the direction of every show determined by their choices of where to go and how to explore the imagined world of this classic tale.

Accompanied by an evocative soundscape, the audience will be immersed in the realm of this extraordinary epic as Seth brings strange and wonderful landscapes back to life... 1,000 years after the monster-fighting exploits of its eponymous Viking hero were first written down.

Beowulf is the oldest surviving poem in Old English. Seth’s new interactive version of the story combines the oral tradition from which it arose with the open-world possibilities of contemporary computer games to create a unique interactive experience.

The performance is on Saturday 9 March at 7.30pm at The Curve.

Tickets cost £12 and are available at www.thecurveslough.com
