Burnham Station and access improvements scheme

The core scheme includes traffic management around the station and associated mitigation works on the network including the closure of Station Road bridge to southbound through traffic; improved pedestrian facilities and crossing points on the highways; relocation of bus stops nearer to the station entrance; new drop-off area in the station forecourt; and a new 42 space car park.

The scheme is intended to improve station facilities at Burnham and enhance access to the station from the western part of the borough, including Slough Trading Estate, and the neighbouring areas of South Buckinghamshire.
