Slough Borough Council are now responsible for enforcing parking, loading and waiting restrictions in the borough. You will hear the scheme referred to as Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) or Parking Watch.
A team of Civil Enforcement Officers (CEO) enforce the restrictions. Priority is given to areas where illegal parking causes the worst problems. Their patrols also include council-operated car parks.
Vehicles parked in contravention cause congestion and slow down other road users. They also create inconvenience for everyone, including legitimate parkers, delivery vehicles, the emergency services, and bus users.
Road markings such as yellow lines, loading bays, bus stops and residents zones, indicate that some sort of restriction applies. Notices nearby will always explain what the restriction is. If in doubt check the notice. You are responsible for making sure your vehicle is not parked within a restricted area and not causing an obstruction.
You can call or email us to report cars parked in restricted areas – residents can call 01753 551018 or email parking@slough.gov.uk if they see a car parked in a dangerous place.
Pay your parking ticket online.
Please note: all appeals against parking tickets should be made in writing to:
Slough Borough Council
PO Box 3839
Slough, SL1 0JA
This is a requirement of the law relating to parking.
