The parks and allotments team is responsible for local parks and open spaces throughout the borough.
Routine grounds maintenance operations in parks, in housing areas and on roadside verges, such as grass cutting, are carried out by the council’s contractor.
The contractor’s work is monitored by the environmental services team. Mobile gardening teams regularly visit sites to ensure that the defined standards are maintained in parks, in housing areas and on roadside verges.
