Youth projects - volunteering

The Youth Offending Team (YOT) requires volunteers to work with children, young people and their families.

Volunteers can take the following roles:

• Appropriate Adult – supporting young people in police cells
• Reparation Worker – helping supervise young people carrying out reparation
• Facilitating group work – particularly with preventative initiatives
• One to one offending behaviour work
• Mentoring – befriending young people
• Visiting and supervising prison visits for young people
• Buddying (support worker)
• Researching
• Admin support
