List of parks in Slough

There are more than 600 acres of parkland in the borough – from large open spaces like Upton Court Park to smaller parks in residential areas.

Below you will find a breakdown of these parks and open space by areas.

We are building 8 new play areas funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

The new play areas will be going into:

• Buttermere Avenue, Haymill
• Deerwood Park, Cippenham Green
• Goldsworthy Way, Haymill
• Grampian Way, Foxborough
• Monksfield Way, Britwell
• Moray Drive, Wexham
• Tower House, Chalvey
• Weekes Drive, Cippenham Meadows

Designs have been drawn up for the play areas after consultation on 19 and 20 September 2009 with the local communities. These 8 are following the 6 that were completed earlier this year.

The building of these eight play areas will be completed by March 2010. HAGS Play Ltd will be designing and installing our play areas.

Designs have also been finalised on the BIG Lottery Funded Play Areas in:

• Upton Court Park, Upton
• Salt Hill Park, Chalvey
