Publishing Census Data

The main Census data is freely available and the Census offices have granted unrestricted use of it. However, if you wish to publish or pass on Census data you must first obtain a ‘Click-Use Licence’.

Licences are available free from Her Majesty's Stationery Office (HMSO), and more information or a licence may be obtained from the HMSO website.

All publications which include Census data, must include the strapline:
