User Support Group - OUT

It is a legal requirement to involve users in decision making about services in Slough.

The Oxfordshire User Team (OUT) aims to:

• increase user involvement in services in Slough
• maintain involvement in planning, delivery and review of services
• improve health and social care for users and their carers
• promote harm reduction to users, carers and service providers.

Narcotics Anonymous

Narcotics anonymous is a non-profit fellowship of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem.

It is made up of recovering addicts who meet regularly to help each other stay clean.

Health Activists

Slough's health activists are members of the local community, trained to deliver basic drug and alcohol awareness sessions.

Offering up to date information and guidance, they can also provide a signposting service to more specialist services.
