Primary aged children parents’ were given a brochure to provide ideas for healthy food both at school and in the home. Sometimes it is difficult to come up with new ideas for meals, so the brochure has been designed to help parents with this task by providing lots of suggestions for meals and snacks including recipes and sources of further information.
Pupils in the secondary schools were provided with ‘It’s Your Choice’, a brochure designed by the Food and Drink federation. This brochure provided more information about how Slough’s teenagers could look better, feel better and have more energy.
