Previous studies have shown that children taking packed lunches to school were, in one meal eating too much
To bring packed lunches inline with the improving school dinners, the School Food Trust have produced guidance for packed lunches. The council hopes parents and schools will adopt this guidance as part of their whole school approach to healthy eating.
