Congratulations to those schools that have gained the council’s Catering for Health Award!
The award is a voluntary extension of the Safe Food Award. Together, the awards praise eateries for their high standards of food hygiene and safety, as well as giving recognition to those who offer pupils, staff and visitors healthier meals by reducing ingredients, such as salt, fat and sugar and offering more starchy foods, fruits and vegetables.
