Tell us about the situation. We need to know the following information:

• The location – the exact place in the street, how far from the nearest corner, the nearest house number or shop name, or any other detail that might help us to find the vehicle
• The street – make sure you tell us the street name and especially, if it is near a corner, the name of the next street too.
• Postcode (if known) – this really helps us to pinpoint the vehicle.
• Vehicle registration number – this will speed up the official checks we make.
• Vehicle colour – this helps us find the vehicle and trace it on the computer.
• Make and model of vehicle – helps us find it and trace it.
• Date tax expired – don’t worry if there is no tax disc, but our enquiries are faster with the details.

To help us we would also like to know:

• Your name
• Your daytime telephone number
• Your address

These details are kept strictly confidential. It helps to speed up the enquiry should we need to contact you for additional information
