How To Tell a Car Has Been Abandoned

Often the car or other vehicle has:

• not moved for a long time (months)
• or just arrived, but never been seen there before
• not got any tax
• may have broken windows or flat tyres
• missing essential parts (wheels, bonnet etc)
• been vandalised or is getting damaged by vandals
• been neglected and is in poor condition generally
• been burnt out or had a crash
• been badly parked or is somewhere it should not be

Any of these may apply to abandoned vehicles. The more that apply, the more likely it is to be abandoned.
