Slough Borough Council is proposing to undertake its third 20 mph speed zone in the borough. This is planned for roads in the East Cippenham area and we would like your views on this scheme before proceeding further.
20 mph projects like this help cut the number of killed and injured in traffic accidents many of which involve pedestrians, cyclists and children.
The proposals include extra signing and physical measures such as speed cushions and coloured surfacing at road entry points all of which raise awareness to motorists of the new speed limit.
