There are nearly 240,000 road crashes on Britain’s roads every year. Around 3,500 people are killed and 40,000 are seriously injured. The costs alone are thought to be around 3 billion pounds every year.
In our own Thames Valley area, every week 3 people are killed and over 200 are injured.
The road safety team is here to educate, train and promote safety for everyone who lives or works in Slough. Education is one of the key factors in reducing road casualties in Slough.
